Woodsend Norfolk is Channel 5 Winner of "I Own Britain's Best
Home 2009"
Woodsend was voted as the winner of Channel 5 series "I own
Britain's Best Home"by public vote beating 27 other houses in
the series who were all vying for the converted title and the
£20,000 prize money which Amanda donated to 3 Charities.
Over the course of 8 heats architectural designer Michael Homes
and interior consultant Melissa Porter and property journalist
Russell Harris put 24 of the U.K. homes through their paces
as 24 hour" live in guests".
Their task was to interview these owners who are passionate
about their home s and have toiled over build, design and renovation,
to leave their personal stamp on their buildings.
Amanda has created, designed and landscaped this 2 acres private
grounds which formed part of The Hargham Private Woodland Estate
in Norfolk. Amanda created the most stunning architectural,
iconic building that makes full use of solar gain and dthe stunning
landscape of woodland and stream running through the grounds.
